Lab-Grown Diamonds & Gemstones: Materials Guide
Our jewelry features lab-grown diamonds and colored lab-grown gemstones, supplied to order according to the selected design. Confirm the details of your chosen piece before ordering.
Lab-grown diamonds and colored gemstones
White or colorless center stones and clear accent stones are supplied as lab-grown diamonds. Colored stones are supplied as lab-grown gemstones and described by their photographed color. The exact colored gemstone species is confirmed for each order; a photograph alone does not identify it.
Lab-grown diamonds and other lab-grown gemstones are different materials. A colored lab-grown gemstone must not be described as a diamond unless its identity as a lab-grown diamond is specifically confirmed for that item.
Actual carat weight and dimensions
Carat is a measure of weight. Actual carat weight is not the apparent size in a photograph, a size estimate, or a diamond-equivalent weight. Confirm the actual weight, dimensions, stone count and selected setting in the specification for your order. Photographs do not establish these measurements.
Metal, finish and reports
Confirm the setting metal, purity, plating or finish for the individual piece. Gold-tone and silver-tone describe appearance and do not establish metal composition. A grading report or certificate is included only when it is specifically identified and matched to the item in your confirmed quotation. Ask which stone or stones the report covers.
Care for your piece
Use a soft cloth after wear and store pieces separately to avoid rubbing. Avoid knocks, harsh chemicals and wearing jewelry while swimming or cleaning. Ask us for cleaning instructions appropriate to the confirmed gemstone, setting and finish. Do not assume ultrasonic or steam cleaning is suitable for every piece.
